Here’s another film simulation. I was out to lunch today and noticed this arc of windows sweeping around gently into infinity. The shot has been cropped slightly. This was done for composition and also to remove the nearest window from the frame as there were structures and lights visible which didn’t really suit the rest [...]

I love this photo because of the incredible texture of the bark. The over-exposed background next to the darkness of inside of the tree-stump adds interesting contrasts – black against white – texture against flat tones.
