Terrigal Beach

During a visit to Terrigal Beach today with Friends, I shot this scene looking south down the beach toward the boat ramp. I like the contrast of the white, fluffy clouds against the deep blue of the sky in this photo. I’ve cropped the shot down quite a bit to remove some unwanted scenery on the right, and I’ve taken a good chunk of the sky out too so that the composition is balanced. The deep blue sky and turquoise water were achieved by using a circular polarising filter. Shot at 18mm, with aperture of f/10, shutter at 1/60 and ISO 100. S
